The graduates of Bachelor of Technology major in Tool and Die Engineering (BT-TDET), Bachelor of Technology major in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BT-MET), and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) topped the Board Examination for Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), February 20-22, 2024.
Five out of the 10 successful examinees who garnered the highest places were from TUP, namely, Aaron Gabriel I. Sigue, BT-MET, 88.60%, top 1; Nikki S. Balderosa, BT-MET, 85.05%, top 6; Ronel, C. Erot, BT-TDET, 84.45%, top 7; Joshua James M. Terencio, BT-MET, 84.25%, top 8; and John Paulo A. Fuentes, BSCE, 83.75, top 10.
Sigue received a cash incentive amounting to PhP 25,000 while the others obtained PhP 10,000 each as per TUP Implementing Order No. 70 series of 2023 which grants incentives to board topnotchers.
