Our BS-ECE students won the 1st Place in the PUP Annual Research Awards held in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology. Their invention is entitled “Arduino-based Sound Acquisition System For Classifying Coconut Maturity Using Fast Fourier Transform.” It means that they can use this machine for determining the age and content of a coconut, kung malauhog, malakanin, or malatenga! Akalain nyo!
The students are Mark Cruz, Jonalyn Escosio, Louiejim Hernandez, Camille Lumogdang, Eddieson Real, and Michelle Andrea Tamase. They were accompanied by Engr. Lean Karlo Tolentino and Engr. Edmond Fernandez.
