ISO 9001:2015 Certification Project's Second Activity

MANILA - The second of a series of activities involved in the ISO 9001:2015 certification project of the Technological University of the Philippines- Manila was the two-day QMS Documentation Seminar Workshop for Process Owners and Document Custodians that was conducted on January 23 to 24, 2017 at the IRTC conference hall.

Mr. Charlie G. Labrador, Management Consultant, QuickSolve System Network was the sole lecturer for the 2-day QMS Documentation Seminar Workshop for Process Owners and Document Custodians.

Mr. Charlie G. Labrador, Management Consultant, QuickSolve System Network was the sole lecturer for the 2-day activity. Some 100 officials and employees from the different colleges, sectors, offices and units of TUP Manila campusattended the said activity.


Discussed during the first day were topics such as Documented Information and Control of Documented System Information. On the second day, the topics covered were Writing a Procedure and Writing Work Instruction. On both days, workshops and group exercises were conducted which required the participants to: Identify Problems of QMS Document Control, Write Document Control Procedure, Write a Procedure and finally, Write a Work Instruction. Rough outputs were presented to the body for further comments and suggestions, while the final outputs were required to be submitted on February.

The project was spearheaded by Dr. Ronaldo A. Juanatas, Vice President for Planning Development and Information System (PDIS) thru the Quality Assurance/Accreditation (QA/A) Director, Dr. Ralph Sherwin A. Corpuz, Director and Ms. Rhodora DC. Enriquez, Assistant Director (QA/A).
