TUP CINDEP soon to rise in Clark Green City

Posted on 04.12.2016

The construction of the P607-billion Clark Green City formally kicked off on April 11, 2016 after President Aquino led the ground breaking rites of the project that is expected to be bigger than Bonifacio Global City.

The Clark Green City, a project initiated by the Bases Conversation and Development Authority (BCDA), involves the development of a 9,450-hectare proposed business hub located inside the Clark Special Economic Zone. Clark Green City was chosen by TUP as the site of its new innovative training center, the TUP CINDEP (Center for Industrial Development and Productivity) that would specialize in industrial and technology skills development. In a Memorandum of Agreement that was formally entered into by TUP and BCDA on January 18, 2016, BCDA allocated 20 hectares within Clark Green City for the development of the said TUP training center.

Following the signing of the MOA, TUP is expected to work on a detailed development plan of the structure of TUP CINDEP aligned with its industry partners.

According to BCDA, the establishment of TUP CINDEP is expected to complement the development of Clark Green City by providing the necessary human resource support to industries within the city and around the region.
